Dated: 29.12.2025 From : Tapan Kumar Mitra To Makemytrip / Kalikapur, Kolkata Reg: Kashmir Tour Package offered by Makemytrip, - Our Experience: Tour ID – NL2131325435608. I approached our nearest Makemytrip office at Kalikapur, Kolkata for a suitable Kashmir Tour Package for 4 persons, all senior citizens. The MMT official at Kalikapur – Shri Indranil Maity after listening to our requirement, chalked out a Tour Package – “Amazing Kashmir Vacay with Gulmarg and Sonmarg” from 27th Nov to 3rd Dec 2025 – a 6N/7D programme. All at a reasonable price. I had several interactions with Shri Indranil regarding the execution of the tour - arising out of our anxieties – about availability of heaters in hotel rooms, hot water, transport, type of car etc. He listened to me all the times and reassured me that all the concerns will be taken care of. Now, after returning from the tour, myself and my wife visited the MMT office at Kalikapur, Kolkata and thanked Shri Indranil profusely for the excellent managements made by MMT in all parts of the tour. Thanks again to MMT and Shri Indranil for the excellent tour management. Feed back in details: 1. As promised, 2 days before the start of the tour, MMT official briefed us about the total tour over phone. 2. The local transport office at Srinagar called and provided us the Driver’s name and phone number, who will receive us at Srinagar Rail Station on our arrival. 3. The Driver Mr Sajad met us at the Srinagar Rail station and took care of our luggage and led us to the car. He drove and accompanied us during our 7-day tour programme to all the places and proved himself as a courteous well behaved tour guide too. Rating: 5/5 4. 27Nov25: We had Shikara ride and Photoshoot as per itinerary. Photo attached. 5. Our first night stay at the House Boat (Aziz Palace group) was NOT at all a happy one. We were just given two bed rooms (good rooms for sleeping with good room heaters) at the back end of a house boat. Approach to the rooms was NOT through the boat itself but through a narrow alley (passageway) outside the boat under the open sky. Photo attached. We COULD NOT feel that we were staying in a house boat, which is a prime attraction of visiting Srinagar. Rating: 1/5. 6. 28Nov25: Our journey to Sonmarg was good, via Zojila pass & Zero point was excellent. The accommodation at Hotel SNOW VIEW was good. On the front side there was a hill with accumulated snow on the slopes. Good view. Photo attached. Food was good. Hotel staff were good. Rating:5/5. 7. 29-30Nov25: Leaving Sonmarg after bf, we reached Pahalgam via Srinagar in the evening. Notable on the way, we visited Kheer Bhawani temple (at extra cost) and Avantipura ruins on the way. Hotel SPARROW was good in accommodation and food. Staff were good. Rating: 5/5. On 30Nov25 We visited Aru valley & Betab valley as per itinerary. 8. 01Dec25: We arrived at the Green Room Resort, Gulmarg. Excellent location. Photo attached. Good rooms, good food. Good Staff. In the afternoon, we had the Gondola ride as per tour itinerary. Good experience. Rating: 5/5 9. 02Dec25: We arrived Srinagar in the evening. Checked in Hotel Green Rooms. Just stayed for the night. Room was good. 10. 03Dec25: At Srinagar, we visited attractions as per itinerary. Dropped at the Srinagar Airport in the evening. 11. All visits as per itinerary were made.
