Overall, it was an amazing trip, and I’m happy to give it 4 stars. It was a customized vacation where I personally selected all the hotels and room categories since we were traveling with two small kids. All the properties were 4- or 5-star, and everything was very well planned. Highlights of our trip: 1. The way the MMT SPOC handled our last-minute planning and helped curate a customized itinerary. 2. Our driver, Basil — extremely humble and supportive. With two young kids, he ensured our road journeys were smooth and comfortable. 3. Our stay at Radisson Blu, Kochi — excellent staff and outstanding service. 4. The wonderful activities in Thekkady, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. Feedback for the MMT Team: The houseboat experience unfortunately disrupted our itinerary. The SPOC should have clearly explained the available options and the limitations of a sharing boat. Considering we had booked only 4- and 5-star properties, suggesting a below-average houseboat was disappointing. The staff on the boat were rude and repeatedly justified the experience by saying it was expected in a sharing boat. When we raised the issue with the ground team, the response was slow and there was no meaningful resolution. It felt like the operator’s version was accepted over the guest’s experience. Additionally, the boat departed an hour late while waiting for other guests, which disrupted our evening plans. We had promised our kids a visit to Marari Beach, but by the time we arrived, it was too dark for them to enjoy.

I had an amazing experience with MMT team and our coordinator/planner Ruchi helped us right from the start until the end, when we reached India. She went out of the way to help and accommodate the changes we requested on the go, as per our need. I definitely recommend this team and their services. Every trip has its own nuances, and ours had too, but the way the team adapted, we didn't feel any need to intervene. Behind the scenes, they worked hard and our happiness was the evidence of it. People must keep sensible expectations from any planning and if you keep them accordingly, happiness is evident and the extra difference that you pay to MMT, it's for their fabulous coordination. Worth every penny. Cabs waiting for you at the airport with your placard, and then dropping off to the hotel, hotels providing you with early checkin (paid extra, but happily), post afternoon lunch, cabs picking you up for the evening trip with a guide, then dropping off to the hotel. Lavish breakfast with alacarte menu at hotels just makes your day. Every guide made us feel special and specially, when one is not well but they make arrangements to accommodate us in every way possible. Vietnam now has a special place in our heart because of the Viet people and because of a great planner Ruchi from MMT.
